Delicious Apple Cookies
This recipe might seem like it has more than a few ingredients, but most of these are normal staples you probably already have in your pantry.
- ½ stick butter
- 6 tablespoon granulated sugar
- ½ cup a/p flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup large rolled oats
- 1 small apple, peeled, cored and diced
Start by preheating oven to 350 degrees F. And line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar.
Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt then mix it until it's well-combined.
Add your egg into the mixture and mix it well then fold the oats and apple pieces into your batter.
Drop 8 to 10 dough balls onto a lined baking sheet, about 1 ½ inches in diameter.
Bake these apple oatmeal cookies for 12 to 13 minutes and allow them to cool before serving.
Don't feel bad about eating two cookies at once or serving these yummy apple treats for breakfast. They are on the healthy side for a cookie and filled with oatmeal goodness.
