How to Make Olaf Cupcakes
The ingredients you will need to make these Olaf Cupcakes are in this list below. However, I have the full ingredients and recipe to print out towards the bottom of the page.
This recipe starts off with a boxed cake mix and store bought icing making it a recipe that looks like you bought it from a high-end bakery but really you made it yourself.
Ingredients for Micky Fondant Ears and bow
- 1 package of black fondant
- 1 package of orange fondant
- 1 package of white
- 1 Wilton fondant bow mold
- 1 mini circle fondant cutter#1
- A round icing tip
- 1 C Ghirardelli milk chocolate melting chips
- 1 disposable piping bag
Ingredients for cupcakes
- 1 box of french vanilla cake mix
- 3 large eggs room temp
- 1/2 C of softened unsalted sweet cream butter
- 1 C whole milk
Vanilla Frosting Ingredients
- 2 jars vanilla icing
- 1 large piping bag with large star tip
- 1 container of white crystal sprinkles

Let’s get started.
To make the cupcakes use a medium bowl and add the cake mix, butter, milk and stir it until it’s combined.
Fill the cupcake liners 3/4 of the way full and bake at 350 degrees for 21 minutes.
Pull out the cupcakes and let them cool completely before frosting.

How to Make Micky Fondant Ears and bow
Sprinkle some powder sugar onto a cutting board.
Roll out the white and black fondant into 1/4 inch thickness and cut out 48 circles of the white fondant for the ears.
Using the icing tip, cut out 72 little black dots. This will be used for the coal on Olafs belly.
Powder your hands with powder sugar and mold the orange fondant into a ball.
Pinch off 1 teaspoon size ball of fondant and press it into the larger bow size mold. Make 22 bows and set them out to dry overnight or place them in the refrigerator.

Chocolate Twigs for Olafs “Hair”
Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave on 30-second increments.
Scoop the chocolate into a disposable piping bag, cut the tip off and Pipe out about 24-26 twig branches for the hair.

Scoop the white frosting into the piping bag.

- Line cupcake pan with the cupcake liners

- Bake in the oven for about 21 minutes.
- Pull out the cupcakes and allow to cool before frosting.
- Scoop the white frosting into the piping bag
Decorating directions
- Frost cooled cupcakes with the frosting
- Place orange bow into the center of the frosting
- Place the ears on the side of the bow
- Place the hair behind the bow
- Sprinkle a little bit of the crystal sprinkles onto the cupcakes for a shimmer like snow!
