These Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes are really, really fun. And have I mentioned easy? Plus, they’re certain to get a few giggles as well.
Since Green Eggs and Ham is one of the best (and most well-known parts) of what Dr. Seuss is all about, it’s just fitting to celebrate his books with these Dr. Seuss Green Eggs and Ham Cupcakes.
I don’t think you’ll hear anyone say that “they don’t like green eggs and ham” when presented in a fun and delicious cupcake form!

How to Make Dr. Seuss Cupcakes
The ingredients you will need to make these Green Eggs and Ham Cupcakes is in this picture below. However, I have the full ingredients and recipe to print out towards the bottom of the page.

This recipe only calls for a few ingredients and when you use ice cream cones, it’s an extra cupcake idea.
- 1 Box White Cake Mix
- 1 Can White Frosting
- Green Ice Cream Cone Cups
- Green Gumballs
- Egg Gummies
- Food Writer Edible Markers (Black & Green)
- Green Food Coloring
How to Make Green Eggs and Ham Cupcakes
Before anything, pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees.
As your oven is warming up, it’s time to make the cake mix according to the package directions.

Once it’s mixed up and ready to go, take and fill each ice cream cone 3/4 the way up.

Once you’ve filled all of them, take and place them on a cookie sheet and carefully place them
Once they’re done baking, carefully remove from the oven and set aside to cool.

It’s time to start decorating! Take the green edible marker and color in the yolk on the egg. Then, use the black marker and make circle lines on the green gumball to make it look like a “ham”. (Have fun with this, and be creative!)

Dr Seuss Cupcake Decorating Idea

You’re going to want to color the frosting by adding 2-3 drops of food coloring and giving it a good mix. Once you’re happy with the color, take and place the frosting in a piping bag and snip the corner.

Use your colored frosting and frost each cupcake cone with green frosting.
Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes

Once it’s covered, take and place on one green egg and one green ham.

They’re ready to enjoy for yourselves or your Dr. Seuss party!

Green Eggs and Ham Cupcakes
Ingredients
- 1 Box White Cake Mix
- 1 Can White Frosting
- Green Ice Cream Cone Cups
- Green Gumballs
- Egg Gummies
- Food Writer Edible Markers (Black & Green)
- Green Food Coloring
Instructions
