The mustache on these Dr. Seuss The Lorax Cupcakes are just too cute! Seriously, We’re a bit obsessed with them.
We’ve made these a few times to share with our other friends and they’re always a big hit.
Since the majority of this recipe is all about the decorating, it’s a fun and easy baking activity that the kids can really enjoy helping with as well.

How to Make Dr. Seuss The Lorax Cupcakes

Dr. Seuss The Lorax Cupcakes
This recipe only calls for a few ingredients and you’re going to have a blast decorating them!
What’s needed:
- Prepared Cupcakes
- White Frosting
- Yellow Chocolate Discs
- Orange Food Coloring
- Mustache Chocolate Mold
The best thing is these start with your favorite boxed cake mix.
Bake the cupcakes using the directions on the box and allow them to cool completely.

Let’s get started…
Start by melting the chocolate according to the package directions. Then take and spoon the melted chocolate into the mustache mold and tap on the counter to get out any air bubbles.
Let harden for about an hour and then pop out and continue to make as many as you need.

Next, it’s time to get your frosting to the color that you want. To do so, add 3-4 drops of food coloring to the frosting and mix well.

Add the colored frosting to a piping bag or large baggie and snip the corner. Pipe on the cupcakes in a circular motion.

Once that is done, it’s time to add a Lorax mustache to the center.

And just like that, they’re ready to serve!

Ingredients
