White Chocolate Milk Splash Ingredients and Tools
- 1 cup White chocolate
- 5 in. Balloon
- Bowl
- Safety pin
Directions:
- Melt the white chocolate down until smooth.
- Inflate the balloon and balance it inside the bowl.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the balloon and place it in the fridge.
- Once the chocolate has hardened, pop the balloon and marvel at your creation.

Easy Cereal Cake Recipe
This easy cereal cake recipe uses a boxed cake mix to get you started, so there’s no need to stress. You’ll also need your favorite sugary cereal.
This cake uses Froot Loops, but you could really use any sugary cereal to achieve the same effect. If you’re a fan of Fruity Pebbles or Cookie Crisp, those will work just as well, so don’t hesitate to mix it up and have some fun.
This recipe is so easy to follow that you can get your kids in on the fun too. Spending time in the kitchen with kids helps them to build confidence and teaches important skills life skills too. It’s a fantastic way to spend quality time with your children while teaching them all kinds of things too.
Milk and Cereal Cake Recipe
Get your kids in the kitchen with this Froot Loop cake and when you’re ready, follow these instructions:
Ingredients You’ll Need for a Froot Loop Cake:
2 boxes of white cake mix with ingredients on the box
Pink, blue, and leaf green gel food coloring
3 – 9inch round cake pans
Vanilla Frosting
3 C unsalted butter, softened
6 C powdered sugar
5 tbsp heavy whipping cream
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 box of Froot Loops Cereal
If you want to make this cake even easier…. use your favorite jarred vanilla icing instead of making it from scratch.

Instructions to Follow:
- Preheat oven to 350 and spray 3 cake pans with baking spray
- Using a hand mixer and large bowl, beat all cake ingredients until combined and smooth
- Scoop ¾ C of batter into each of the 3 bowls
- Mix in a few drops of pink food coloring into one bowl
- Mix in a few drops of blue food coloring into the second bowl
- Mix in a few drops of Leaf Green food coloring into the third bowl
- Divide the remaining white batter between the 3 cake pans
- Scoop each colored batter in dollops onto the white batter
- Place into the oven and back for 28-32 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean and allow it to cool completely

Place one cake layer onto the cake board and cut the dome off the cake to make an even layer – Repeat step with other two layers
Scoop 1 C of white frosting onto the bottom layer and spread it evenly and then place the second cake layer on top and spread 1 more cup of frosting evenly.
Next place the last layer of cake on top and frost with remaining white frosting.

Place the cake in the fridge to allow the base frosting to harden for about 30 minutes.
Now you are ready to finish decorating…
Coat the bottom of the layered cake with fruit loops

Carefully remove the balloon from the fridge and remove it from the bowl.
Hold the chocolate part in your hand and by using a safety pin, carefully pop the balloon and remove it from the chocolate.
Carefully place the chocolate bowl onto the top of the cake and carefully fill it halfway with the Froot Loops cereal

Cut and serve this delicious and absolutely adorable cereal cake to friends and family and enjoy.

Froot Loop Cake Recipe
Ingredients
White cake
- 2 boxes of white cake mix
- 8 large Egg whites
- 2 ½ C water
- 1 C canola oil
- Pink, blue, and leaf green gel food coloring
- 3 – 9 inch round cake pans
Vanilla Frosting
- 3 C unsalted butter softened
- 6 C powdered sugar
- 5 tbsp heavy whipping cream
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 box of Froot Loops Cereal
Chocolate Milk Splash
- 1 cup white chocolate chips melted
- 4 small 5 in balloons
- 2 bowls
- safety pin
Instructions
White Chocolate Milk Splash
- Blow up your balloons to about the size you are wanting and place them into a small bowl with tape on the sides to keep them standing upright
- Melt ¾ C of your white chocolate chips in the microwave in 30 second increments until melted
- Mix in the ¼ C of the white chocolate chips into the melted chocolate and Spoon the melted chocolate onto the top of the balloon into a splashed milk design by covering the top of the balloon and creating drips around the sides to give the splash effect
- Carefully place the balloon into the fridge
Making Cake Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 and spray cake pans with pam baking spray
- Using a hand mixer and large bowl, beat all cake ingredients until combined and smooth
- Scoop ¾ C of batter into each of the 3 bowls
- Mix in a few drops of pink food coloring into one bowl
- Mix in a few drops of blue food coloring into the second bowl
- Mix in a few drops of Leaf Green food coloring into the third bowl
- Divide the remaining white batter between the 3 cake pans
- Scoop each colored batter in dollops onto the white batter
- Place into the oven and back for 28-32 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean and allow it to cool completely
Frosting directions
- Using a standing mixer, beat all ingredients except for the color until it’s combined and smooth but stiff with peaks.
- Place one cake layer onto the cake board and cut the dome off the cake to make an even layer
- Repeat step with other two layers
- Scoop 1 C of white frosting onto the bottom layer and spread evenly
- Place the second cake layer on top and spread evenly 1 more cup of frosting
- Place the last layer of cake on top and frost with remaining white frosting
- Place the cake in the fridge to allow the base frosting to harden for about 30 minutes
- Coat the bottom of the layered cake with fruit loops
- Carefully remove the balloon from the fridge and remove it from the bowl
- Hold the chocolate part in your hand
- Using a safety pin, carefully pop the balloon and remove it from the chocolate
- Carefully place the chocolate bowl onto the top of the cake
- Fill it halfway with the cereal
- Cut and enjoy!
