How to Decorate Olaf Cupcakes
- Break off one quarter-sized portion of marshmallow fondant.
- With 10-15 drops of black GEL food coloring, work that into this smaller portion of marshmallow fondant. This needs to be black, so if you need more food coloring, add more. If the fondant feels too wet, put it in the freezer for 10 minutes. Set aside.
- Break off one dime-sized portion of the white marshmallow fondant.
- With this tiny portion of fondant, work in 5 drops of orange GEL food coloring. Set aside.
- Break the white fondant up into 12 equal-sized portions.
- Further break-up each of these 12 portions into 3 pieces each (1 is about half the amount and the other two being ¼ of the full portion).
- Roll each of the now 36 portions into balls.
- Stack one each of the smaller balls on top of the larger balls, laying flat on your wax paper to keep them steady while you decorate your Olafs.
- You should have 3 balls together (like a snowman)

- Press a candy eyeball on each side of Olaf’s face.
- Using the black marshmallow fondant, pull off a very small portion and roll it in your hand to form a very small cylinder. Place one cylinder on top of each of Olaf’s eyes to form eyebrows.
- Using your fingernail or a spoon, press into the front of Olaf’s face to form a smile.
- Using the black marshmallow fondant, pull of very small portions–three per Olaf–and roll them into tiny balls. Place those balls on his torso, two on the bottom ball and one on the center.

With the orange marshmallow fondant, separate it into 12 very tiny portions and roll them into cones. Use these as Olaf’s nose.
Place all the Olaf’s in the refrigerator until you’re ready to put them on the cupcakes.
Let’s get your cupcakes finished… With your largest decorating tip, press it into the top of the cupcake and make a hole in the center of the cupcake. Save the top to put back on before you ice them.
Place 1 tablespoon of white sanding sugar sprinkles inside the well in the cupcake. Stuffed cupcakes are so much fun to eat.
For the icing, you can purchase a jar of store bought vanilla icing and mix 2-5 drops of blue food coloring into your vanilla frosting, stir it up until the color is consistent.
Frost each cupcake in a swirl with your star tip, turning the piping bag as you pipe. It’s really easy and looks so cute.

Place one Olaf on top of each cupcake and serve this yummy frozen treat for your next party.
