Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit. Grease a large baking sheet and set aside.
  • Combine softened butter and peanut butter. Mix with a hand or stand mixer until light and fluffy.
  • Add in brown sugar and ¼ cup white sugar and mix until well combined. Add in the egg and vanilla and stir until just combined.
  • Combine flour, salt, and baking soda, mix into wet mixture and mix until a dough forms.
  • Take about 1 tablespoon of dough and roll it into balls, and dip it in sugar to coat.
  • Place about 2 inches away from each other on the prepared baking sheet. Continue with all the dough.

Notes

**Note: If the dough is sticky to the touch or hard to roll into a ball, refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour to allow it to firm up. Take about 1 tablespoon of dough and roll into balls and dip in sugar to coat. Place about 2 inches away from each other on the prepared baking sheet. Continue with all the dough. Bake for 8-9 minutes and then remove and press one Hershey Kiss chocolate in the center of each cookie.
Place back into the oven for 2 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown.
Allow them to cool and enjoy!
**Additional notes: You can use the prepackaged peanut butter cookie mix and just have them prepare it via the package instructions and just add the candy on top for an easier option.
