Cinderella Cupcakes

Servings 12 cupcakes


  • Cupcakes: 1 White boxed cake mix prepared
  • 1 can of your favorite vanilla frosting
  • 1 cup marshmallow fondant or white modeling chocolate
  • Blue GEL food coloring
  • Light blue pearl sprinkles found at my local grocer
  • High heeled shoe mold
  • Wax paper just to set your marshmallow fondant on
  • Star decorating tip and bag


  • To make the cupcakes, preheat oven to 350-degrees.
  • Prepare 1 Boxed White Cake Mix
  • Spoon into lined cupcake pan.
  • Bake for 30-minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool cupcakes completely before decorating.
  • Break marshmallow fondant into 12 small pieces.
  • Press one ball of fondant into a shoe mold shape and pull it out.
  • Use a butter knife to trim off unwanted portions of the mold that didn’t make it into the shoe shape.
  • Place shoes into the refrigerator until you’re ready for them.
  • With your largest decorating tip, press into the top of the cupcake off-center, creating a well. Save hole tops.
  • Place 1 tablespoon of the blue pearls inside the well in the cupcake.
  • Replace the hole top on each cupcake.
  • Mix 2-3 drops of blue food coloring into your vanilla frosting, stirring until the color is consistent.
  • Place the star tip in a piping bag.
  • Fill the piping bag with the blue frosting.
  • Frost each cupcake in a swirl, turning the piping bag as you pipe.
  • Place a shoe on the side of each cupcake.
  • Serve and Enjoy!
