S’mores Thumbprint Cookies
Who says that you have to get that delicious s’mores taste and flavor only by cooking out over a campfire? And while that sounds like a ton of fun, you can easily get that same taste with these delicious S’mores cookies as well.
The great part about this cookie recipe is that it doesn’t take overly long to make and they’ve got an incredible taste and flavor. Everyone that you share them with are going to love how they turn out!

How to Make S’mores Thumbprint Cookies

S’mores Cookies
This recipe only calls for a few ingredients and if you use a microwave, it makes the process a ton more simple!
For the cookies
- ½ stick butter
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
For the center
- 3-4 marshmallows
- ¼ stick butter
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 1-2 tbsp milk
For the topping
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 graham cracker
S’mores Cookies with Graham Crackers
Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.

In a medium-sized bowl, using an electric mixer and beat together the butter, granulated sugar, egg, and milk.
Next, add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt and beat it until your cookie dough forms.

Roll out 1 inch spheres out of the cookie batter and place them about 1-2 inches apart from each other on the lined baking sheet.
Use the back of a teaspoon to form an indentation in the center of each cookie.

Bake these for 10-12 minutes and allow them to cool on a wire rack.
Thumbprint Cookies
You may use the back of the same teaspoon to make the center indentation a little deeper.

Place the marshmallows in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave them for 20 seconds or until completely melted.
In a small bowl, beat together the melted marshmallows, butter, icing sugar and milk with an electric mixer. Start on low and gradually increase to high.
Scoop the marshmallow buttercream in a piping bag and frost the center of each cookie.
Easy Cookie Recipe

Melt your chocolate chips and pour it into a piping bag, then cut a small slit on the tip and act quick! You don’t want the chocolate pouring out from it.

Drizzle chocolate on each cookie. Doesn’t this look amazing already?!

Place your graham cracker in a sandwich bag and crush it using a rolling pin and then sprinkle on each cookie.
